Hello world! I’m the new kid in the bloggers block. I’ve always enjoy reading food-related blogs as I find that human palette can always be intrigued with different taste everyday. I’ve always been a foodie and I’ve been wanting to start a food/recipe/food review blog since forever and I guess it’s never too late to start anything. Being brought up watching and helping both of my parents preparing meals,I always enjoy cooking as a kid and hell yeah, it’s my number one passion. Whenever I am in the kitchen cooking, I feel calm and I can feel the warmth of love. I guess my homemaker mum, MY Martha Stewart inspires me so much on doing all the girly stuff (cooking,crafty stuff etc.).I love you mama! My father is an academician who never stops studying and when my siblings and I were young, we felt that we were the victims of the situation. We had to move to different states and country for his studies and work. We hate saying goodbye to our “bestest” friend ever and saying hello to new ones were a horrible beginning all over again. Well, at least one of the perks moving around to different states in Malaysia and The US is that we get to experienced various types of food! Food are always a conversation starter for me to meet new friends, a mutual link, and I guess that’s the reason why I find eating is just a fun adventure; “Hey, I’m Ili and I brought tuna sandwiches for lunch.Wanna share?”
Today changing hats as a business owner, a wife, a mother of a 3 year old and a 6 months unborn baby, I live a crazy unselfish life, where everything, everyone else matters but MYSELF. It’s a rare event or moment to find a peace of mind and soul, you know, the ME time. Therefore, I cook for my sanity. The coziness, calmness, and the ME time. Here I am sharing with you the food I love to eat, cook and several chef-y attempts too! yea yea…I’m not a chef, but I can guarantee you that my cooking are definitely edible and I cook with big sprinkles of love!
